New Year Resolutions.

I have never been one big on New Year Resolutions, mainly for the fact that I can never last past the first week, and that is a bit depressing lol. But this year, being a wife and all, I have decided to start making them...only to change me into the person I want to be when Jon and I have our own family. Here it goes.

1. Stereotypically, lose weight. Not too much though. Tone I would like to say. I like having a more "full" figure than skinny, but I do NOT like having pudge hanging over my jeans. That is a basic no-no and that NEEDS to be fixed.
2. Be better at blogging. I started this blog to give time to recording Jon and I's first years and years to come of marriage and such, so I need to start.
3. No more cursing. Its a horid habit that I really need to cut. There is no reason for any of that to come out of my mouth when there are perfectly more acceptable things to say.
4. More quiet time and making Church a priority. I have found an AWESOME church and it has the BEST people. You can totally tell God is there when you walk through the doors, but lately I have been really 'lax about getting through those doors. I am going to be spending quiet time with God everyday and praying. Along with church. I am making it my mission to not miss church at ALL this year. We'll have to see how I do. I could use some prayers ;)
5. Be a better wife. In the few months Jon and I have been married, I have learned so much about myself and he and I together, as a unit, than I could have ever imagined. I plan on growing on those findings and developing a beautiful realtionship with my husband.
6. Keep a better house. I do not want to let my house get out of control like it so often does. I have had times when I seriously sit in the middle of the room and cry because I do not know where to start! I have developed a plan for this and it WILL work!
7. Eat more at home. I gained SO much weight from eating out it is ridiculous. Also, what is a more comforting way to say I love you to your husband than to cook him an amazing dinner, right? I started the New Year with my Chicken and Dumplings in the slow cooker. Yummm.
8. Be a wiser spender. Being the wife, and eventually the SAHW, I will be in charge of finances and making sure things are bought when needed and bills are paid. In order to do that, I need to actually have the money to do it with!

Wow, I think eight is quit enough!
Happy New Years!!
